Not effective for men
These scissors were purchased for one purpose - trimming ear and nose hair. I immediately opened it to check the quality. They appear to be well made and may work well for other purposes. For hair in ears and nose - useless. The "tolerance" or fit and maybe the sharpness isn't good enough to cut that hair - not at all. They don't even "grip" the hair like tweezers like some scissors, they simply bend the hair. Revane was too kind and fair to me, so I won't return her. I never do. But scissors for this purpose are hard to find. Buyer Warning.
