Review on ๐ŸŽง Sony WHCH700N Wireless Bluetooth Over the Ear Headphones with Noise Cancelling, Mic for Phone-call, Alexa Voice Control - Blue by Joseph Hall

Not bad for $100. But not worth 200โ‚ฌ.

Update. I found the noise cancellation in these headphones to be a bit weak. But I was standing next to the observation deck at Fort Lauderal Airport. I put on these headphones while taking photos. Boy, while they weren't at the level of Bose noise cancellation, they were surprisingly good. Bose's price drop for the QC35 ii was expected, but the $300 holiday sale price wasn't enough. When they finally dropped from $200 to $100, I jumped at the chance to get them. Good part? This is definitely not Bose quality or the quality of the Sony WH1000xm3 family. Those two mentioned ear tips simply provide a better seal and smoother sound. You just do it! I've had the Sony WH1000xm3 for about a week but returned it because I couldn't get used to the gesture controls. New update, I've found myself wearing these Sony headphones less and going back to my Tribit headphones. I understand that we have two reasons for this. The recesses in the earcups of Sony headphones aren't deep enough that I can sometimes feel them touching my earlobe. I'm worried about it. The Tribit's protrusion is definitely deeper and fits my ear and provides a better seal without touching my earlobe. Also, Sony had really great control over skipping and using the Google Assistant. Now I can't activate Google Assistant on my phone or tablet for reasons I don't understand. However, when I wear the headphones with one of these devices, the Sony app prompts me to install them to regain functionality.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Security
