Review on 🐠 Revolutionary Marine MicroMag Magnetic Glass Cleaner: A Game-Changer in Aquarium Maintenance! by Christine Bergseth

Super strong magnets in a 1 inch cleaner, great for cleaning hard to reach places

This is a really small cleaner, perfect for mounting in the corners of tanks, around a heater and others objects. Its magnet is very strong, so it cleans even stubborn algae in one go. With the large pads I use on the exposed glass surfaces of my 55 gallon aquariums, I often have to rub the magnet cleaner back and forth multiple times to remove the kelp/diatom. However, its magnets are so strong that you need to be careful when putting them together on opposite sides of the jar. The first time I used it, I first placed the outer magnet on the glass, then reached to the tank with a wet hand to place the inner magnet on the glass. The magnets were so strong that they ripped the inner one out of my wet fingers and banged against the glass. It was an old 55 gallon tank with very thick glass so it wouldn't break. Some of my 10 and 20 gallon aquariums are cheaply made from much thinner glass that would likely break in the same situation. Since then, I've learned to put the inner magnet on the glass first, and then, with dry fingers, put the outer magnet on the glass to keep it from slipping out of my hand. When not in use and stuck together, they're also a bit difficult to separate unless you have a strong finger grip. I've found that it's a lot easier to separate them when you want to use them if you use a plastic milk jug lid to separate them for storage. If you put the wet one in the lid and the dry one in the bottom, it also catches the drips until they dry.
