We purchased this computer as a gaming computer, but a few days after purchase it stopped opening programs, we couldn't open the start menu and the programs wouldn't close. It would take a few minutes after starting if it was working normally then the problems would come back. Even the task manager didn't start, be it Ctrl + Alt + Del, Ctrl + Shift + Esc, right click on the taskbar, Windows + R, nothing worked, the list of running programs became static and unchanged, which destroyed all my ambitions for it . In the few minutes after launch we tried a few things: - reboot - update drivers - run a virus scan - uninstall software that might be causing it - boot into safe mode to repeat all the above steps - sfc /scannow via the run command line in safe mode - perform a windows reinstall (the problem went away for two days before it came back) None of what we did was a long term solution so we did a factory reset and returned the computer. Other reviews that have appeared since purchase seem to have affected not just us but the entire batch that Revain sells with this issue. Do not buy this device.
