This product took my cracked and warped iPad and made it brand new! My kids thought we bought a new one! Anyway, here's my take on the product; 1. Watch MANY YouTube videos on how to disassemble an iPad. Mine got hacked to hell, so find a video that matches your iPad's condition. It gives you practical tips for working with the iPad.2. SAVE YOUR BEZEL RING! This kit does not come with a plastic frame to fit your iPad. If you look at your iPad, you'll see a small white/cream colored border that's right inside the metal part of your iPad. You will most likely break it, but please note that this kit does NOT come with this frame. Not many suggestions, just make sure you have a decent iPad case to protect it.3. Do it in a place where there are no children, adults or pets. Why? Because you can get glass EVERYWHERE! 4. Take your time. It's not an urgent job, so grab an adult drink and put on some good music. Good luck and remember that. A new iPad costs $100, but it will cost you around $15. So what if you screwed up! Order another one.
