When I first saw this set, I was attracted to many things. I deal with many animals and animal-related topics. I'm an active cleaner, obsessive at times, but I still have problem areas. The cost of the test is outrageous. Not that I have to pay, but I feel like it would be a bet on everyone's worst nightmares. Household microbes tested include: Listeria, Dematophytes, CrAsphage (sp.), Aspergillus, SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A/B and including all bacteria. That's impressive, of course, but many of these microbes already live in our homes. For example, Aspergillus is a common mold spore that you probably already have in your home. It affects some people, but only those with weakened immune systems. What I didn't want to do was sign up online, another account I don't need. My first thought was to get tested, which I did. The concept is good but I think it would be more useful in a commercial setting. This kit is well designed but costs a lot more at just under $250.
