To use the Android Auto head unit for the car, I need to connect my phone to the car using a USB-C to USB-A cable. My problem is that even the slightest movement of the phone can cause the Android Auto head unit to lose connection with my phone, which would render it unusable. By movement I mean driving over a bump, moving the phone from one passenger seat to the other, picking up the receiver. They call it! I tried using all the USB-C cables I already had, as well as a couple of USB-Micro USB-C adapters. Frequent Shutdowns! I read a review of this Anker PowerLine+ II USB-C to USB-A cable and decided to give it a try. I was skeptical! The cable arrived last night. In the morning I connected the phone to the car and voila! Plugged in and stayed connected. I could move the phone. I could drive on bumpy roads. I could even leave my phone out of the car so I could scan the app on my phone while driving through a coffee shop that I drive frequently. This includes a slight tug on the cable that always broke the connection. The Android Auto Headunit didn't skip a single step! This cable is amazing!
