I was skeptical about buying this set but was surprised when I used it. The trunks close tightly and the 450 degree temperature setting is perfect and leaves my hair really frizzy. My only complaint is that there is no lid on the bottom of the barrels so you don't have to put anything down with your other hand when spinning, everything has to be done with one hand which is good but takes a lot of getting used to.
