Review on 🔌 Enhance Versatility with StarTech.com PEX1PCI1 PCI Express to PCI Adapter Card by Dale Sundet

The first card received did not work. I tried two different PCI cards on three different PCs in 1x, 4x and 16x slots and couldn't see the new device in Device Manager. I contacted StarTech Support and they were unable to help me. I've already tried everything they suggested. They said to contact the seller I bought it from for a refund or a new card. Revain sent me a replacement which I received the next day. This one worked fine. At least it recognized the PCI cards I put in and they worked as intended. Time will tell if they work consistently. This adapter saved us $850 over the version of the PCI Express tool card that we would have to buy if we couldn't find a working adapter.
