So. This is ONLY a set of 20 five sided blocks. You must purchase 6 COMPLETE SETS to create the entire periodic table. that costs over $30 for a set. Luckily my son had a family who each bought one as a birthday gift to make the whole set for him. And these blocks are GREAT for my 4 year old to play with. He is autistic and has Savant Syndrome so he memorized the periodic table after hearing the Asap science song about the periodic table 4 times. He was obsessed with it so I HAD to have it when I saw these blocks. There aren't many periodic table toys for toddlers as it's obvious that most toddlers don't care about these things at all. First I bought a set of 20 and we really liked them. But my son didn't play with them AFTER DAY 1 because he was frustrated that he couldn't complete the periodic table with them. Unfortunately, the gift didn't last very long. By the time we received all 120 elements a few months later, had 5 more sets of blocks and assembled them, it took 1.5 hours to assemble. With a little help from my kid. Он просто взволнованно танцевал, напевая, пока мы искали кубики, и он сказал нам, что нам нужно дальше, и какое число, какие буквы и аббревиатуры искать и т. д. и т. д. Однако из-за его возраста и аутизма ему it doesn't matter. sit and find something while looking from different sides of the blocks even 5 minutes let alone 2 hours. so HE doesn't often touch these blocks himself. It's too much trouble because there are SEVERAL items in each block and he doesn't have the patience. But an adult plays with him. This is one of his favorite toys. We have now completely set up the table twice. But every time it takes a long time. And we basically build it while it sings and repeats everything. One more thing. element groups? They don't match in color at all and that worries my family. All alkali metals must be the same color. All noble gases are the same. All halogens have the same color. And so on. The fact that they aren't the same color makes it difficult to get this damn full table together. So is it worth having? I think so. But this is for us because of my special child who LOVES the periodic table. With passion. But for most children? Probably not, unless they don't care what's written on the blocks and just build towers to bring them down. They're pretty light. How sharp. But not really difficult. So for the game, in this case, these are VERY expensive blocks that can only be used for this. Also, there are only 20 of them. What if Uncle Goose went out and made these blocks with separate elements on each block? I would buy it from Racing HEARTBEAT! (Probably) (but not in a pack of only 20.) I hope this review helps some parents. We love these blocks. But my son ALSO enjoys a printed picture of the periodic table to sing along to. So. I do not know. It's hard to say if I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
