Review on ARB ARB705LB Orange Snatch Recovery by Philip Davenport

Revainrating 5 out of 5

great strap: exterior accessory

Pulled two trucks out of deep sand today. 1 Rubicon operated by children that did not air. I sat and watched them dig with their hands for a few minutes (they didn't have a shovel either, but hey, they're kids). After showing them how to air and watching them shovel the sand around the tires (with my shovel, and no I don't shovel), I plugged in my truck (2019 Tacoma SUV) and attached the belt to the Rhino shackle hitch (another great product) and got it out with a good pull. Thank you from the kids and they hit the road. On my way back from the beach after some bad surf fishing I see a Chevy Silverado also buried on the floorboards and these people (a very nice family) waved at me and asked for help. So say what the heck, I got out and helped these people too. They didn't have a decent recovery point at the front of the truck. It's just a bull bar and the thing would have fallen off or bent instantly if I tried to pull it out like that. So I used a hitch, put the strap in the hitch and used the hitch pin to secure the rope in the hitch. Went like clockwork. This is an amazing strap from ARB. It should definitely be part of your rescue kit, along with a shovel, a few nominal shackles, a jack, and Max-Traxx chains. If you buy this you will not be disappointed. Much luck.
