The ThermoPro TP19 is an amazing instant read thermometer. This company has not disappointed me yet. I also have their TP-08S wireless grill thermometer and meat thermometer. This particular instant read thermometer gives a faster reading of about 2-3 seconds than any other instant read thermometer I own. I also have an instant Weber reader that gives me an accurate reading in about 10-11 seconds. I tested the ThermoPro TP19 and Weber's Instant Read going from my hand's body temperature, 86 degrees, to a cup of ice water, and the TP19 read 32 degrees in 2 seconds, while my Weber's Instant Read took 10 seconds. seconds to give me a reading of 32 degrees. Also, the price of the TP19 couldn't be better! ThermoWorks is offering Thermapen Mk4 for $140. Anyone willing to pay that kind of money for a thermometer is a complete idiot. It's just a thermometer to check the temperature of the meat. No thermometer is worth that much money. ThermoWorks is a ridiculously marketing-savvy company aiming to empty their consumers' wallets in favor of a product that's no better than the ThermoPro TP19. ThermoPro has great products and I will always go to them for honestly priced grills that I need. You know, will meet my standards. If you're serious about grilling and want a great product that won't break the bank, take a look at ThermoPro. I am so happy I made this purchase.
