Ok, I don't usually write reviews, but I think this will help someone! For some reason it's almost impossible to find a planer that's already in the US. I don't mind shopping abroad, but I needed a planer faster than international (unless I wanted to pay for the expensive shipping). There were reviews EVERYWHERE about this plane, with the biggest issue being improper blade placement. It's true and I wanted to return the item, because it didn't work at all. BUT, because I'm tired of looking for planes I might get soon that don't cost me too much money I took a closer look and honestly all you have to do is ADJUST THE KNIFE. I took a screwdriver, loosened the screws a bit (without removing them), and pushed the blade forward so it sort of snapped into place. I held it there and re-tightened the screws and now it works ✨TOP✨ Took me about two minutes to adjust. That's literally all you have to do and you've got a decent slicer. So if, like me, you need a cheaper planer ASAP and you have a screwdriver, this is the one for you. Hope that helps!
