Review on Wella Color Touch Light Blonde by Rhonda Jennings

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For light to medium brown hair.

This is a beautiful shade that refreshes light brown to medium brown hair well. The brown base is unique to Color Touch and in combination with gold creates a very special warm brown tone. It's hard to explain, but the color definitely doesn't look like a pharmacy box! This shade is not a true Level 8. Color Touch (and Koleston) has one or two dark levels, so more like Level 6 to 6 1/2. So it's not blonde at all. I use this on my level 5 hair to refresh the color every few weeks. However, I do it a little differently. I mix equal parts 7/73 and 9/73 and get 8/73. Color Touch is a professional product and is used in salons so it's great that it's available from Revain. It is so much better than the color of the box and once you try it you will see the difference and never go back. It is also good for the condition of the hair. Mixing a few droppers of argan oil into the color mixture when the hair shaft opens during the coloring process delivers a dose of much-needed lipids right into the hair structure. This is a great opportunity to color and condition at the same time. This product was gifted to me by my former colorist (the first one because I now color myself after finding Color Touch and Koleston)! Color Touch not only offers great color solutions, but also gives you never-ending brilliance. However, you must use a sulfate-free shampoo, otherwise the color will fade too quickly. If you don't like the color, you can use your regular sulfate clarifying shampoo a few times and it will fade dramatically. 8/73 is a beautiful shade but not blonde. This would be ideal for light or medium brown hair. I highly recommend this shade and this product
