I bought it for my son who plays basketball. Wanted to add lightweight stability and ankle roll protection to it. When he was younger he used one that worked well. Now it's a lot bigger and I decided to take it a size up. However, this time he failed. He has slightly wide feet. To use this orthosis, you need to put your foot through the fixed hole of the orthosis, and here lies the design problem. Although this opening is elastic, there is a limit. And if you have wide feet, it can be quite uncomfortable when playing as your feet tend to swell a bit. Generally, my son had to take it off after 20 minutes of training. The hole should be adjustable for different foot widths. We ended up with a standard brace in Target that worked much better. So much for the NBA pro stuff. It's not intended for everyone.
