As a Sonicare toothbrush user for 15 years, I know how much cleaner my teeth are after using an electronic toothbrush. However, I cannot recommend this Oral B children's product due to a design flaw in the brush head. Both the battery powered and battery powered versions of this product have a small slot at the top of the brush head that collects black residue and mold once the brush is used. This roughness in my child's mouth kills all the good things about a toothbrush! I don't understand why Oral B doesn't fix this. The Sonicare brush head doesn't have this problem, so I don't see why it's a necessary part of Oral B's brush head design. I tried a more expensive rechargeable version of the Oral B children's toothbrush and it has the same issue.
