I have an HP desktop computer and it has a faulty power cord. When this monitor just started turning off for no reason, I knew what to look for. The power cord was replaced with the cord I had laying around and it's been perfect ever since. If you are used to a 24 inch monitor, it will take you a few days to get used to the size reduction. I had to play around with the text size to get the size I wanted, but it's no hit to the monitor.
