We've had the large size for about 3 years now and love it! It has stainless steel trim on the inside of the lid, so I expected the same from this one. But don't be fooled like me. The inside of the lid of this kettle is made of ALUMINUM, while only the inside of the container is made of stainless steel. This is important because the water boils, condenses on top, and then falls back into the boiling water. Cooking/reheating aluminum can cause many health problems! I find it extremely misleading that the company does not truthfully state this fact in the description. Too many people think this kettle is "useful" without realizing the reality of the aluminum lid. Don't be fooled like me! Send it back immediately and don't trust this company again.
