After extensive research I purchased two of these cameras, one for my 2016 Toyota Highlander SUV and one for my husband's 2014 Toyota Tacoma pickup. After watching a few youtube videos on installation we decided to professionally install one for the Highlander SUV. One of the youtube videos mentioned that the backup camera cable might not be sufficient for a large SUV, but in the comments on this point someone with a 2018 Toyota Highlander pointed out that it is sufficient. I have a hatchback with an opening rear window. after installation, before paying the bill, the technician assured me that i could open the rear window with sufficient clearance, so there are no problems. NOT CORRECT. The cable to the rear camera broke out of the camera and they couldn't fix it. Luckily I brought a second camera and they used the cable from that. The cable wasn't long enough to attach to the rear window, so they installed it on the headliner, which worked fine. I then had to order an extra cable so we could install a second camera. Had I known there was a longer cable (8mm) I would have ordered a longer cable if you have an SUV. I appreciate that a manual was included, although again I found youtube videos to be more helpful. The menu items could be a bit more detailed. I had an issue with the inability to access the camera's menu. I contacted Revain support which was a joke. They don't even deal with one customer at a time and had no idea. More research solved my problem again. There are two ways to access menus and settings. The first way is on the camera and you must NOT have Wi-Fi enabled. The second way is to access it on a mobile device with Wi-Fi enabled. I paid $169.99 for these cameras and today when I go online to write this review I get $144. Not happy about that. I get $144. Not happy about that. I get $144. Not happy about that.
