Fits well in medium sized male and female hands. Very nice to use on the head, it feels like a slight itch. I love that you can remove the scrubber part so you can boil it to sanitize from time to time. In terms of washing, I have thicker hair, I had to move my hair so that the scrubber was in full contact with the scalp to get a good scrub, but I didn't have to move it too much as the silicone bristles are pretty long. I got them specifically for 'dandruff' but I will say there are different types of 'dandruff' so not sure if this works for all types. My dandruff comes from too much oil, in which case a good exfoliation twice a week will help reduce morning snowflakes. If you have red patches around your dandruff, I recommend seeing your doctor. And probably don't use this product as it can cause inflammation or irritation of the scalp.
