First you need to buy a cup holder set that fits your pot. I don't know how they would work if you didn't have it. Second, you really need to oil the cups. I squirted a little diaper into each and rubbed the oil in with the handy brush that comes with your kit. It only takes a second. Then place the cup holder in a pot of cold water. You need to take each collar for each cup and put it on the silicone cup. You'll find that it has threads, so do it on the top as you'll screw the lid tightly into those threads when you crack the eggs. I set a timer for 15 minutes and then turned off the gas and let it sit. Perfectly cooked eggs that pop out of small cups with ease. I would advise not breaking eggs into cups until they are supported by a holder and water in a pot as they are soft silicone and like to rock and tip over so you need a holder and water. But if you follow my instructions you will love it as much as I do!
