I recently bought a used car and noticed a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke from previous owners. As a non smoker I was disgusted. I looked for an air freshener at the local store...but none of them were particularly strong...or if there were any, they weren't scents I'd much rather smell than stale smoke. However, they have a nice strong scent which I like... and they mask the musty smoke smell well. It was several weeks before I stopped smelling the first one. However...if you don't really like the smell of cinnamon and apples (I do)...then it can be a bit overwhelming. But these are perfect for me.
