Review on 🔧 Airaid Throttle Body Spacer 200-512-1 for 99-06 Silverado 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0L Engines by Chris Hayes

I bought this air assist product for my 2004 GMC Sierra 5.3. I only had minor installation problems. The instructions provided worked well considering I am familiar with most of the under the hood components. It was a little difficult to get the gasket to align and stay in place. I strongly recommend you install it on a cold engine. In my situation it was warm/hot, I had very few other options. My car also has an aftermarket K&N cold air intake. An issue was discovered while reinstalling the air intake that required me to trim the radiator fan housing about an inch short, which is very easy to fix. I suspect it's a bearing issue on some models. Overall I was very happy with the installation process and the quality of the product. I'd like to say I've noticed a difference in performance, but I'm not the type to step on the gas. Very often. I think it's a great performance accessory when used with other components like aftermarket headers, headers, exhaust and chip.
