I'm switching from a Windows PC to a Chromebook, but I didn't want to buy all the new peripherals to fit the Chromebook's USB-C ports. Also, the Chromebook I currently have only has two USB-C ports. I found this pair of USB-C to USB3.0 adapters, read the reviews and bought them. They work great. My new Chromebook has USB-C ports, one on each side of the keyboard, so this Chromebook doesn't have any issues with the wide adapter size. I can easily use an adapter on one side to connect my 3-port USB/Ethernet box and connect a peripheral keyboard, mouse and flash drive, and another adapter on the opposite side of the keyboard for other peripherals, that I may need. I have to remove an adapter when it comes time to charge my Chromebook, but that's not the downside of adapters. The adapters themselves have a solid metal body and I hope/expect that they will last a long time. Great value for money, especially considering you don't have to buy all the new peripherals.
