I had high hopes for this product as I have seen similar products with impressive cold air performance. I have central air conditioning at home, but some rooms get uneven cooling and I thought it might go well with some rooms that need a little boost. I like the portability of the device. The controls are good once you get used to them. I find the possibility of refilling water a bit fiddly, because without a swivel reservoir you have to tilt the whole thing to fill it up. In terms of efficiency, it's slightly better than a regular fan. I wouldn't say it cools the entire room effectively, but it's very comfortable to stand in front of. It's fairly quiet on normal settings and has the ability to blow air in Crazy mode. I would be curious how other brands work as this is my only experience with such a device. But overall I think it's a useful machine.
