I needed a new handheld barcode printer for my business and I found this one with the most advanced features I have ever seen. Out of the box, this device is built like a brick. Nothing cheap about it where the buttons, ports, touchscreen, app features and ink cartridge are the best I've ever used. The software is top notch and can even be updated. The editor is impeccable and works great with dimensions, including text width and height. Adding a sequence of numbers and printing a barcode is very sharp, my handheld scanner works great with it and actually recognizes dashes faster than the label type barcode I used before. Apart from a lot of editing features, it also has storage where I have saved some of my prints right on it without any external storage devices. It is possible to connect a USB drive and it reads images or text directly from the disk and loads quickly. Now for printing it prints on any flat surface regardless of its type. I was about to submit pictures for this review but the pictures weren't enough for this as I have included a video demonstrating some of its features and demonstrating the printer on some difficult to print surfaces. But the most important thing for me is always a perfect print without errors. No broken bars, no fading of some characters, no cropping, just perfect printing every time. It's also a low-maintenance device. There are no separate nozzles or hardware where once the ink runs out, the cartridge is simply swapped out and thus a new printhead is fitted into the cartridge. There are no actual maintenance costs other than buying ink when it runs out. However, this cartridge is on par with the XL cartridge where it has plenty of ink which I haven't run out of yet. The cartridge is easy to get, always choose a brand, prices are good and this type of device tends to be picky when it comes to multiple refills and never worth it. Where have I been along the way so far. The touch screen is not a cheap screen, it is very high resolution, the touch screen is a high sensitivity type which is a hard screen, not the cheap flat panel types using the highest quality screen the one device can have. where is the joy in using. Each tap of the screen provides instant access to the menus and the computer needs to be powerful as the transition from screen to screen takes no more than 1/2 second, even when it comes to buffering a print job it's instantaneous when spooling print jobs. I like the option to press PRINT and then each press of the trigger sends a new print to the print head for printing. The current is smooth and glides perfectly with the reels. I've never seen anything printed so smoothly. The whole device feels light and I can easily use it all day without tiring my hand or arm. The developers of this device took a lot of time and I could not find anything that did not work to my satisfaction. Where there are no downsides, I'm just really happy with the purchase.
