Disappointed Best in Hair Care

I thought as this is a well known hair care company this would be a decent straightener. It is not. I have a pixie cut and wanted to curl my hair with a small flat iron. The hair sticks and does not slide smoothly through the two plates. It leaves wrinkles and is just unnecessarily difficult to use (like a cheap flat iron at the dollar store). Also, you can't control the temperature and this iron gets too hot! If your goal is just to straighten your hair, I'm sure you're fine (but still okay). But the second you try to flip it or do anything else with it, you end up with creases and plates that refuse to slide through your hair. I ended up buying a Christine Ess travel straightener (found at Target) and it's much better and doesn't brown my hair or burn me.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Short guide
