Listen to negative reviews. This rug has deep folds that allow mice to pull and catch.

As the name suggests, I should have listened to the negative feedback. The rug comes in a compressed roll (it was packaged well enough that I can't fault the shipping). This causes deep creases that I have not been able to remove. Aside from not looking very pretty, the creases also make mice snag and cling to spots. It's not exactly a snag, but it kind of hits the ground and causes inconsistent drag. FYI, I've tried the Logitech G502 Hero, MX Anywhere 2S, and the Performance MX mouse and they all catch on. Even if you have a flat mat, there are some things I personally don't mind that could be a deal breaker. for others.1. This mat is weirdly slippery for a non-slip mat. I can easily move it anywhere on my desk with my pinky while it's loaded with a heavy mechanical keyboard, mouse, phone, water bottle, and plate of food. It's big enough that it really isn't a problem for me as I usually keep my wrist steady for typing, even when playing games. I actually like it when I can just put it out of the way when I need to use my desk for writing, drawing or anything else that doesn't work on felt.2. When used with a mouse, this thing is significantly louder than any other mouse pad I've ever used. I have a noise canceling mic and work from home so this is not a problem for me. But if you are planning to use this with co-workers or loved ones, they will most likely get angry very quickly. On the other hand, the set includes two felt coasters for your drinks, which was a pleasant surprise. They have deep creases down the middle, but at least they're there, right? TLDR; This pad creases before shipping, glides like an astroglide and makes noise (I never thought I would say that about a mouse pad).
