Review on Broadcast Streaming Production HogoR Cleaning by Sean Bond

Lots of features missing - UPDATE

Like most people during COVID we bought this to live stream our service club meetings. It works well, but there are serious disadvantages: 1. It has no image stabilization. If you use it on a tripod, the video will shake. We've added homemade insulation pads under the tripod legs and weights. That helped, but it takes much longer to install.2. Auto white balance is my biggest issue with this camera. There is no way to disable or configure it. If you have different people with different skin tones, this is constantly changing and making them yellow. Even the same person who is in front of the camera for 10 or 15 minutes will have different shades throughout the time they are on camera. This alone is a reason not to buy a camera. I hope they fix this with a software update.3. The transition between preset scenes is very fast. There's no way to slow it down. The default speed for PTZ and live screen focus in the web interface always reverts to the same high speed. I'm not sure why I can't change my default settings to a more normal speed. If I had to do it again I would spend a little more money and get a better quality camera. UPDATE 6/30/2021 After speaking to the manufacturer, who was very responsive, I learned that many setting issues can be resolved by going through the menu system on the camera remote. It wasn't intuitive for me and I would have preferred to have these settings in the web interface. My main complaint was an issue with the auto white balance. You can disable auto white balance in remote menus and set it to white paper. These settings are saved across reboots. In the end this camera is worth it, you have to learn a little.
