Review on 📚 Fujitsu ScanSnap SV600: Efficient Overhead Book and Document Scanner for Streamlined Scanning by Jason Rosekrans

The scanner keeps losing connection with the Windows 10 computer and I have to go through this recovery procedure. This is a major pain and rarely works reliably. We have to restart several times for the scanner to be recognized. We also have a ScanSnap ix500 and it's having the same driver issue these days. Multi-page scan detection does not work as expected. You have to do a lot by hand. Also, the metadata for the pages is hidden somewhere in the application (not in the PDF), so you can't scan the pages on one computer and make extensive manual edits on another. OCR is a lot less reliable than you would expect. .
