My son usually wears a youth size 11/12. He has always been on the thin side, but now wears casual clothes instead of slim. Most jerseys he can still wear with Juvenile Medicine is an 8/10. I ordered it a size 8/10 and it was so small it was more like a size 5/6 and I ended up giving it to his little cousin. I reordered because I liked the pattern and the quality of the shirt. I think I ordered two sizes up hoping he might wear them later. I was wrong, I ordered 14, and as in the photo, it's spot on. Actually a bit comfortable. Unfortunately we won't be using this shirt much, but I still like the quality and the pattern. If you want to go 3 sizes up if you can.
