So I use this for my saltwater aquarium that has multiple pumps and filters that don't have on/off switches and often have to be turned off to feed or clean. It's a lot easier than unplugging or turning everything off instead of just turning off what you need. An alternative like Apex Netune costs hundreds. It's not automated, of course, but it's cheap in comparison. Just as good as your typical multi-socket power strip in terms of quality, durability, etc., but with switches - not cheap, but not heavy, just practical. Not many manufacturers make them so we got what was in stock.
