I ordered a small inflatable cone for my Papillon. First he pushed with his paws and squeezed over his head. I pumped it up more. Then he pushed and pushed his neck between the cone and the Velcro. Luckily I was home and fixed it before it got hurt. I tightened the belt and scolded him. It's hard to find a balance between being tight and not so tight that breathing is restricted. If you found it and your dog got used to it then it's a good product. I believe all inflatable skittles will have these problems. You just won't know what your dog will be like until you try. This worked for my dog, by the way, and I hope it works for yours too!
