It was a bit smaller (glass hole) than I thought. But I like it. I would be tempted to put other things (pens and such) next to my glasses and I don't think that would be a good idea. I think you risk scratching the lenses if you store your glasses in the holder with something else. I like that the canister is removable (although I don't know why I would want to remove it), but it's a nice feature. I like that there is a place to keep my phone. If you have a pop socket in the back, it won't sit straight up. So I just pop it horizontally into a small slot when charging next to the bed. It does the job of storing my glasses and phone while I sleep and keeps me from banging them on the bedside table.
