The best and safest option for your photography gear, ready to travel

While searching for the perfect solution to store and transport my camera gear I came across this case and haven't looked back since. (highly recommended) accessory holder for above, i can store the following gear perfectly: 5d mk ii and 5d mk iii cases with handles 4 canon camera batteries and 2 canon chargers 3 600ex flashes and st-e2 transmitters 3 omni bounce fabric diffusers 2 tamrac Battery compartment with 32 Eneloop AA batteries total 24-70 2.8L II with lens hood 70-300 4-5.6L with lens hood 100 2.8L Macro with lens hood 135 2.0L with lens hood Canon intervalometer and remote shutter release Pelican CF memory card holder holding up to 8 card cards Black shoulder and wrist straps Pocket sized lens cleaner and some microfiber cleaning cloths The protection, durability and design of this system (when the contents are properly matched) is incredible. True to the Pelican brand, it can withstand almost anything, but most importantly it's nearly immune to moisture, dust and moderate shock, which are major drawbacks in most non-rigid camera bodies. At 220 pounds I wouldn't hesitate to step on it with full gear and it gives you a walk-through seat when it's not there. It's the perfect size for overhead storage on flights, and the wheels work fairly well on smooth surfaces like airports and sidewalks. Going abroad with it was a great decision as no one in their right mind should ever have expensive electronics inspected by airport staff for mishandling and possible theft. The design also allows for the use of padlocks and I've found that adding a seat belt that goes through the padlocks and around some solid structure is a fairly effective deterrent when you're not around. When I need to take my gear into the field or run to a target and shoot, I use a Lowepro top loader and/or S&F bags and sling for whatever combination I need. So I can choose the right tool for the job from my Pelikan case and it's always nice to know that everything has a cozy and safe home when I'm done. Equipment with the best available solution. I think it's a Pelican 1510.
