Review on Olympus Mirrorless Camera Megapixels 5 Axis by Hideo Tsuchida ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

Great camera - switched to it after FF and just fell in love. To this day, it serves faithfully - on vacation, at work, at home. If you have a full-frame "reflex camera" around 2022-2022, then this camera gives +/- the same thing in terms of RAW ductility. I switched from Sony DSLR-a850 - almost everything is the same. I want to note an interesting fact: it is believed that the depth of field is an advantage of FF and a disadvantage of micro4 / 3. As my personal experience has shown, this is just the main advantage, not a disadvantage. It's very cool that you can take pictures with F1.2, and have the depth of field as in ≈F2.4 🙂

Pros
  • - Compact system compared to FF. - Dust and moisture protection - it's worth a lot when you can walk in St. Petersburg in a fine drizzle and not worry about the fact that the camera may die. Or in winter at -20 - it just hangs on a belt and just works. - Silent operation mode (electronic viewfinder). - A technologically advanced camera with many interesting modes, such as "LiveComposite" - you can see how you paint your frame with light, or "ProCapture" - when what was a couple of seconds ago remains in the buffer, that is, you can press the button and take a picture of what what has already passed))) sports photographers will appreciate this opportunity) - The camera is very well customizable, you can assign the necessary function to almost any button. - AutoBB works very well and the final jpeg is already in your camera - in fact, you always have a ready frame. - A very autonomous battery, lasts for a long time, you can safely make more than 2022 frames on a single charge. - Good and tenacious autofocus, especially when compared with mirror systems with drives in the camera ("screwdriver"). - An interesting feature, in RAWs, information is stored in overexposures - this is very unusual, especially when you are used to shooting with underexposure so that the lights do not "burn out". - Good ergonomics. - Perfect image stabilizer in photo. - Convenient quick menu that allows you to change the basic shooting settings. - Rotatable display - it is very convenient to shoot from the ground at outstretched arms - more freedom in creating interesting angles. - A huge fleet of native optics from Olympus and Panasonic, plus do not forget about third-party manufacturers.
Cons
  • - The rubber on the camera swells and peels off over time. - The elastic band of the eyecup tends to stretch and get lost. It turns out that the plastic mount remains from the eyecup, which painfully sticks into the eyebrow. - Pretty confusing menu in the camera settings. - There is no support for remote control of the camera in Capture One or Lightroom, but it is available in the standard camera software. - Rather, a feature of the 20 megapixel sensor is that it is better to take the optimal frame immediately, and not with the hope of further cropping it by 60%. (Find the oddity? :)

With its pros. Great professional machine. With good optics, it allows you to take great pictures. Lightweight, so suitable for traveling and walking. Excellent stub. I recommend. Some cons: Compared to a DSLR, the battery is weak.
