If this drive is set as the main one - drive C:, it is necessary even before installing the operating system convert from MBR to GPT (look online for the reason and details of this procedure) If this is not done immediately, then you will have to do it later, through the complete deletion of data on it. Disk C: on a modern computer (BIOS supports UEFI technology) must be GPT, this is a new technology, MBR is outdated. The manufacturer, as I understand it, sets MBR by default, since old BIOSes do not support GPT technology. Maybe this is written in the instructions attached to the disk, but which of us reads these thick instructions in non-2022?
