If you need to buy this setup and call.

If you are purchasing this unit and need to contact Pro Am for assistance, don't worry. They don't answer the phone or call you. This product was manufactured with a defective part. The plastic handle on the turnbuckle that is meant to tighten the fret that holds the lower, weighted portion of the rig up doesn't work. The screw is too short to reach the threads on the other side. When I first grabbed the plastic knob to tighten and adjust the slide shaft to balance the camera, it pulled right out of the turnbuckle. The screw you receive is basically not long enough to reach the threads on the other side when you put it in the hole. Without the ability to tighten this fastener/sleeve it is impossible to keep the bottom of the carriage attached to the top. I fix this situation, I just went to the hardware store and found a screw of the right size, long enough to reach the threads so it could be tightened. Buy a 1/4 inch screw and some washers and you should be able to get it working.
