This watch strap looks great when it's clean. It is well made, the orange thread along the strap is sewn neatly. My problem with this watch strap is that the surface is a bit sticky. It's a bit hard to describe, but the silicone surface offers a lot of resistance when you run your finger over the surface (so not smooth). And if you touch/rub the watch band on a dry towel or cotton sweater, dust/lint will remain on the surface of the band. I think that's manufacturer intent because it means "diving watch strap". When the watch band is wet, dust/lint will definitely not stick to it. And indeed, its sticky surface can help the watch strap stay in place on the wearer's wrist, even when wet. But then again, I'm just guessing because it's not mentioned in the product description. Too bad I didn't know anything about the surface finish before buying. It's too difficult for me to keep clean for everyday use.
