White lettering on shirt is coming off

I had high hopes for this shirt from the pictures. Very disappointed. I bought this as a gift for my brother-in-law. Only took it out of the package to gift wrap it the day before giving it to him. I immediately noticed the white material on ALL of the lettering is coming off of the shirt. Very shoddy workmanship.
