My husband and I have Windstars from different years, but we were able to use the same remotes for both. Programming was very easy. The company even posted a video on their website to show you how. Nice to have a spare remote. The hardware store asked for $50 each. Update September 2017 - One of them started crashing, just didn't respond when I clicked on it, and then eventually didn't work at all. There doesn't seem to be a way to open it to change the battery(?). I'll just order a few more and try again but just wanted to let people know.
