When I first bought the Grill Chief the owner wrote to write a review within a week of receiving it. He wrote several more times asking the same thing. I've been using my Webber kettle for about 35 years and have tried many grill brushes. All of them last a year of about 2 years. All worked fine when new. So I had no intention of reviewing it until I was convinced it could stand the test of time and use. Mr. Grill Chef, owner, you make a really good grill brush. It's in its fourth year of regular use and it's going strong. I have a feeling he has a few more years to live. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because the little leather strap I use to hang it on the hooks on the side of the grill lasted about 2 months before it broke. . I went to the hardware store and bought a string of beads, a type of string used for lamp cords. The pearl necklace works great. Hello Mr. Grill Chef, if you are reading this I have an idea for you; Forget the leather tie and replace it with a pearl necklace. You can remove the basting brush to offset the extra cost. The pastry brush was nothing special and easily forgotten.
