I live in a small nyc Apt with not a lot of space . I have my washing machine in the kitchen and I often use it as a counter/food prepping space. I didn’t want to damage the top of the washing machine (like I did my previous one) with scratches and rust. I put this mat on top of my washing machine and it’s perfect. I prepare my foods on it and it’s very easy to sanitize and clean. I thought for sure it would melt when I put a hot pot on it but it didn’t. It withstands very high heats. And it can removed very easily. I recommend this mat to everyone!
