Uneven temperature and pressure
Update: Both gaskets I got for my mug press caught fire. The mug press has a very uneven temperature and possibly pressure on the element, causing my mugs to discolour. Pretty unstable and the fabric on the press pads ripped. Also the pressure when tilting the press is uneven and the temperature is not the same. I knew I was taking a risk buying this press so that's what it is. I do not recommend.
