This was my first Ozeri scale I have ever bought - almost TWO years ago I have since bought various Ozeri models and all three are in use and working properly. I rated the easy-to-clean stainless steel plate positively when I bought it. These little scales have been used daily since purchase. The buttons work daily and none of them have ever let me down and still feel great when pressed. The display also withstands the daily on/off. Nothing has changed in terms of accuracy of fit. Thought that would change over time. Although it says 'Kitchen' on it, I use it as a letter scale because of the durable and easy-to-clean stainless steel top. It handles my uneven mail table fairly well and gives accurate readings. I usually weigh things a few times to be sure, but they stay the same. It also pairs well with my other more accurate scales, which is pretty impressive. Due to the constant use of this scale and its ability to stay operational while still providing accurate readings, I have no hesitation in recommending this item. Update: Now five years later and still great. I have used these scales extensively and they still work. The stainless steel top made this scale really beautiful, easy to clean and durable for years of use. If I could, this little champion would get six stars.
