My wife and I adopted the two oldest cats (14-16 years old) from a shelter we could find. Old animals still have a lot of life and love. Both cats appear to have been street cats for most of their lives. As a result, both have problems with the gastrointestinal tract. Offering this daily, they balanced digestion and helped reduce runny stools. The taste alone makes them gobble up whatever we put on it, so I'd say it's a good appetizer as well. This is not a panacea. One cat appears to be normal after being treated with this drug for a few months and eating a clean indoor diet only. However, another old man still has occasional gastrointestinal problems, which appear to be a symptom of underlying medical problems. All in all I'll say it helped with the healing and he's better off with it than without.
