Find a display on your dashboard that shows your truck switching from a V8 to a V4 engine while accelerating to, for example, 40 km/h or more. Plug the Range device into the OBD2 port under the driver's side dash and bam, it works. No more V4. It made a HUGE difference in my 2009 Suburban's transmission performance. No more rumble when resuming light acceleration at high speed. My truck loves it. My 2016 Yukon has also gone up, although the improvement isn't that noticeable. What you lose in MPG you gain in longevity of your transmission. For your health.
