Review on 💾 Transcend Storejet 1TB Portable USB 3.0 Hard Disk (TS1TSJ25H3P) - Fast and Reliable External Storage Solution by Danny Poulin

This is a bit disappointing. I bought a Transcend 4TB USB 3.1 Gen 1 StoreJet 25H3B SJ25H3B Rugged External Hard Drive TS4TSJ25H3B external hard drive so I can extract some files that I don't always use on my two computers but don't want to delete. First the features: The disc is small, light and fits well in the hand. I could put it in my purse or pocket and I highly doubt the extra weight would kill me. The drive is actually a little less than 4TB (3.93TB) because it has a driver/program installed that you need to install on your computer first, but that's minor and to be expected. I installed this program on both of my computers, but it didn't work on either of them. So "one-touch backup" is more like backing up files manually, cut and paste like you would with any other portable flash drive or flash drive. I would love that backup feature but the real reason I bought it was because it was different for that but for 4TB of storage and also for the advertised 3 layer shock protection. I bought a WD Elements portable drive a while back and after simply falling 2 feet off a table onto a carpet it broke along with all my files. I hope that such events can provide better protection. I'm not sending it back because I can still get files from computers. I managed to remove 1.5TB from a computer and I'm pretty happy with it. It didn't take long which is a big plus. To be honest I expected it to take hours and hours, but it doesn't. I would buy it again, uninstall the program that doesn't do what it's supposed to do and get out of there. In terms of the space you get and the impact protection, I really hope this works out well. I reserve the right to amend this review if things change in the future. For now it is what it is and seems to be working fine, although I can't do a "one touch" backup.
