Review on Terra Battat Large Dinosaurs Dinosaur by Reginald Truitt

This is a very nice collection of dinosaur toys. They are made of a hard rubber-like material. They are brightly but accurately painted, carefully sculpted and detailed. I'm no paleontologist, but I think they're pretty accurate. According to the ad text, they were created by a paleo artist. We have several sets of Battat dinosaurs and the only complaint with all of them is that some of the two-legged and even some of the four-legged ones struggle. get up on their own. I think they are a little twisted and deformed when packed in their own box big enough to hold them and of course that throws them off balance. We were able to heat them up in a hot tub (their color doesn't fade) and then diagnose what was twisted and *gently* twist them back into shape so the sick dinosaur could stand up. Remember to use the tail to complete the three-point stance if necessary. It's a shame really, because everything else about them says 'quality', but children's toys have to be soaked in hot water on Christmas morning and then played around with them while the child waits impatiently - that's the main downside.
