Review on ⏲️ Dual Event Timer by Taylor Precision Products by Kesha Walker

Only got two today for a few purposes. I liked the idea that you can use two timers at the same time and when they are not in use the time and date are visible. It's a little inconvenient to have a switch on the back of the device that has to be manually toggled from timer mode to clock mode to use every function. Although I can live with that. I also bought these timers because Taylor is a well known brand for professional use in my line of business. I work in the culinary field. However, while they count down and work as expected, we'll see how long they last. Timer housings are made of plastic. There's nothing new here, except that the plastic appears so thin that it feels like I'm holding it in my hands, like I'm holding an empty eggshell in my hands. In addition, the clips on the back are designed for versatile use. Not a bad idea, but to use the timer with a stand you'll need to tilt the timer back with the clip open to fold back the metal bar so the props reveal the clip. A light press and the clip clicks into place and the timer stops. I have a feeling this alone could damage the device. Moving on, the clip itself is so flimsy that I don't think the device will stay attached to an apron or shirt/chef's coat etc. This definitely defeats a purpose of one of the functions I wanted to use for the timer. . As other Revain customers have said and often noted in reviews, the magnet on the back of the clip is so weak it barely holds the timer to a magnetic surface, and the timer (maybe) only weighs an ounce. Eventually, one of the timers I received ran out of a magnet. This leads me to believe that the adhesive used to attach the magnet to the plastic clip is not strong enough to hold the magnet in place for years in extremes of heat, humidity, and cold. That's what I need from a timer.
